Inaugural Society and Environment Tour 2012

2012 marks the year for the inaugural Society and Environment ‘Canberra Tour’ where over 40 students accompanied by 4 staff departed Perth on Saturday 7 July for a seven-day trip to Canberra and Sydney.

Students from Years 10, 11 and 12 will be filling the first week of their school holidays exploring Society and Environment related sights, including visits to the War Memorial, Parliament House and the Australian Institute of sport, and not to forget a Tobogganing experience or Taronga Park Zoo.

Students attending the tour have the opportunity to endorse the trip, which can earn them valuable points towards their WACE graduation.

The College wishes the tour group well and our prayers are with them, whilst they are away from our community. We hope that they all enjoy and make the most of this wonderful experience that has been afforded to them and we look forward to their return on Friday 13 July.

Our special thanks go out to Mrs Meagan Van Lamoen who has coordinated the tour for the students.
