At the AIS
After a busy day yesterday (Monday 9 July) at Parliament House, debating each other about conscription and free public transport, we also learnt how to vote and some of us even enrolled!
We then enjoyed much success shopping in the city before returning for dinner, then heading up to Black Mountain to climb the Telstra Tower and see the beautiful city lights.
Today, (Tuesday 10 July) we started out with a visit to the Australian Royal Mint and then caught “the vibe” at the High Court of Australia.
With a quick visit and you’re at the National Art Gallery, we stopped for lunch and then finally made it to the Australian Institute of Sport. We enjoyed watching the Australian Men’s volleyball Olympic team train and then got to play and train as well, which we thoroughly enjoyed.
Tonight we are heading to Ten Pin Bowling and tomorrow we hit the snow slopes for tobogganing. We can’t wait!!!!
