Hello, I am the Australian Defence Force Transition Mentor at Kolbe Catholic College. This position has been established at Kolbe in conjunction with the Defence Department to offer personalised services to Defence Force Families. This Service has been created to offer the following functions:

• Support mobile young people, dependants of ADF Members
• Develop programs, strategies and resources to assist the school with long-term support of mobile young people.

In providing these services, my position allows you to contact a member of staff to liase with the School and the Defence Force. My role also enables me to be a child’s immediate contact at school. Programs and resources can in turn be implemented to help a student’s academic, social and spiritual development.

Throughout the year, events will be held at Kolbe to better inform you of the program and meet other families in the area. These activities will be advised to you through the School newsletter.
