to attend the College.
Introduction
Kolbe Catholic College is committed to
providing opportunities for academically
gifted students to excel in the humanities,
literature and mathematical sciences.
We acknowledge this by awarding academic
scholarships at Year 7 and at Year 10.
The scholarship scheme is funded by the
College itself without outside assistance
from agencies. The scholarship will be
worth 50% of the full tuition fees, and
is tenable for Years 7, 8, 9 and 10, provided
the student's academic progress, conduct
and overall contribution to the College
are satisfactory. Further Senior School
scholarships are offered for students
entering Year 11 and 12.

The applicant should:
- exhibit a strong desire for a Catholic
education
- exhibit a strong, demonstrated desire
for excellence
- be willing to become fully involved
in the College’s co-curricular
activities in accordance with the ethos
of Kolbe Catholic College
Details of the Scholarship
Applicants are required to:
- Complete an Academic Scholarship
Application Form and submit to the College.
- Provide any supporting documentation
to assist in the selection eg:
- Two most recent semesterised School
Reports;
- MSE Testing Results;
- Competition or School Awards
- Certificates of Academic, Cultural
or Sporting Performance
- Be available to sit a four part Scholarship
Examination.
- The results of this Examination will
provide a shortlist from which the successful
applicants will be selected for an interview.
ABORIGINAL SCHOLARSHIPS:
Applications for Year 8, 2009 close
Friday 30 May.
Applications for Year 7, 2009 close Friday 30 May.
Aboriginal Scholarships are worth 50%
of the full tuition fees and are awarded

Aboriginal Scholarships are awarded through
an application and interview process.
The successful applicant will be selected
on the basis of excellence, citizenship
and leadership potential.
