21ST CENTURY TECHNOLOGY AT KOLBE COLLEGE
Technology is an increasingly integral means of education in our `changing world' at Kolbe Catholic College. As part of our commitment to empowering every learner to serve and enrich our changing world, the college is exploring the potential of a one to one laptop program for its students.
Recently on Thursday April 2, the ICT Executive Committee at Kolbe Catholic College ran a Discovery Session, aimed at unpacking the concept of a 1-1 laptop program. Mr Peter Murray, Account Executive K-12 Education Apple was the facilitator of the process and presented a stunning overview of the pieces, which together make a 1:1 program successful.
In attendance was the Principal, Deputies, Heads of Learning Areas, Heads of Year, Director of Finance - Administration, ICT representatives, School Board and P&F Members as well as some interested parents and student.
