A Dynamic Learning Community
Welcome to Senior School at Kolbe Catholic College, a dynamic learning community where we provide a rich, relevant and challenging program for students that will enable them to be life long learners.
In Senior School, students start to make academic choices, which will have a significant impact on their future careers. Students are supported to make informed decisions about future pathways and direction. The College offers a variety of pathways to allow students to personalise their learning to enable them to achieve their personal best. Courses allow students to progress towards further education at university or other training institutions, vocational training and employment. These courses are supported by a diverse range of extra-curricular activities, which all students are encourage to be involved in.
As a community centred on Christ’s teachings, our students are challenged to look beyond self and consider the needs of others through our Christian Service Learning program. Thoughtful, respectful and informed involvement in the community is promoted on a local, national and global level. Students are encouraged to embrace the challenges of today’s society and to make a positive difference to the lives of others.
As leaders within the College, our Senior School students are encouraged to promote and support our Pastoral Care system. Each of our students belong to one of six houses founded on the charism of Catholic patrons. Our House system promotes involvement within the College and the wider community through service to others.
