Term 3 Newsletter 13
Over the past few weeks students have been given the privilege
of wearing their PE uniform with the House t-shirt
to school on days when they have pre-carnival athletics events.
On Kolbe Day again, students were allowed to wear their PE
uniform with the House t-shirt. While it has been great to
see so many students competing in the pre-carnival events
and Kolbe Day, we need students to abide by our uniform policies.
Uniform expectations are clearly articulated in the student
diary and all students are required to wear the uniform correctly.
A number of uniform issues need to be highlighted:
- College blazer must be worn to and from school. Students
need to wear the blazer up until recess.
- Predominantly
white sport shoes are to worn with the PE uniform.
- Students
may wear items underneath the uniform providing
they are not visible from the outside.
- When
wearing the PE uniform, the College, jumper
can only be worn underneath the tracksuit top.
Students are not permitted to wear the jumper on its own
with the shorts or track pants.
Generally, uniform standards have been a little disappointing
in recent times. This needs to be improved. Next week, the
College will have its Inter-House Athletics Carnival and
it is important all students wear the correct uniform on
the day. Students will need to wear their tracksuit and PE
Shorts with their House t-shirt, along with white runners
and Kolbe sport socks and hat. Students who do not have the
correct uniform, need to remedy the situation before the
Athletics Carnival.
The uniform shop is open on Monday and Thursday
mornings.
In the up and coming weeks, students will be called upon
to represent the College at various events. It is essential
that students take pride in the way in which they wear the
uniform. All families are asked to check the student diary
if they are unsure of the uniform expectations.
