Annual Old Boys V Current Students Football Match


The Annual Old Boys vs Current Students Football Match once again proved to be another successful event on the Kolbe Catholic College calendar.

Foundation students, Adam Puca and Nevarda Haenow, competed for the first time in what was an extremely tight match.

The current students made a fine start and were leading at the first break. However, the old boys would not lie down and continued to fight back to take the lead on the final siren. Continue Reading…

IMG_6038Following his graduation from Kolbe Catholic College in 2006, Jason studied Electrotechnology and Graphic Design.

As a student, he was involved in the College’s productions of Little Shop of Horrors, The Outsiders, Back to the 80’s and Away.

Radiographer: Sheri Gabriel

Following her graduation from Kolbe Catholic College in 1997, Sheri Gabriel attended Curtin University and studied a Bachelor of Science.

This degree saw her become a Medical Imaging Technologist (Radiographer) and she went on to work at Rockingham Hospital and Royal Perth Hospital.

1993 graduate Clare Keneko first visited Japan as an exchange student in 1994, falling in love with it so much that she decided to move there!

“I have no question that my education at Kolbe helped me attain one of the converted spots as only one in ten were accepted the year I went away!”

Rice House member Ellen Brophy graduated from the Kolbe Catholic College community in 1997.

Ellen left the College with a keen desire to study marketing and tourism, hoping to land a career within the field.

Quiksilver Technical Product Manager: Chris Branch

10707053_781036305275799_1124360070_nChris Branch joined the Kolbe Catholic College community as a Year 8 student in the College’s foundation year, 1989.

The foundation year was made up of approximately 100 students, which saw the class become a tight group who took ownership over the school.

Over the weekend, 40 former students from the Class of 1997 gathered for their 20 Year Reunion.

Teacher and Author: Amber Le Scelle


Amber Le Scelle graduated from the Kolbe Catholic College community in 2002, following her sister who was one of the first students to attend Kolbe.

After graduating, Amber studied at Murdoch university before moving to Toronto and then eventually deciding to pursue her teaching career in Hong Kong.

Amy Nilsen was an enthusiastic performing arts student who also held the role of Teresa House Captain in her final year, 2008.

You will now find Amy fully immersed in European culture, residing in Paris and performing in cabaret shows.

2015 Graduate Sam Kimberley is off to the 2017 World Dwarf Games in just 17 days! Sam first competed four years ago while still attending the College and was the youngest team member at age 15.
