2015 Graduate Sam Kimberley is off to the 2017 World Dwarf Games in just 17 days! Sam first competed four years ago while still attending the College and was the youngest team member at age 15.

Good luck to Sam and we can’t wait to hear how you went!

Class of 2007 10 Year Reunion

IMG_3260On Saturday, May 20 many of those belonging to the Class of 2007 reunited after 10 years, with the gathering drawing the largest attendance of any reunion.

Around 70 people attended the event, including 11 couples who formed during their time at the College and are still together!

Past Students’ Netball Success

Past students Sophie Garbin and Olivia Lewis are achieving major netball success.

It’s been a record-breaking season for Western Sting’s Sophie Garbin (2104 graduant), exceeding 500 goals before the end of the season, and assisting the team to take out the grand final. Sophie averaged over fifty goals a game.



Lance Dann – 2016 graduate

Screen Shot 2017-02-21 at 12.44.47 pmKolbe Catholic College 2016 graduate, Lance Dann, received his Certificate of Enlistment for the Army Gap Year on Monday 20 February.

Lance will be attending the Army Recruit Training Centre Kapooka near Wagga Wagga, NSW, for the next eleven weeks as part of his Army Gap Year.

Vinka Barunga


Vinka Barunga, Kolbe Catholic College Class of 2006, and 2016 UWA medical graduate, hopes to return to her home in a remote part of Western Australia to become the town’s first indigenous doctor.

Western Australian Regional Achievement and Community Awards

screen-shot-2016-10-29-at-8-43-03-amThis is Chelsea Randall, 2008 Kolbe Graduate, and recipient of the Worldwide Printing Solutions Sports Award.

Chelsea Randall of Newman is a three-time All Australian, AFL Women’s player.

She has been awarded the WA Womens Football League Best and Fairest twice and was drafted third overall as marquee player of the Adelaide Football Club in the national league. Chelsea volunteers on AFL, netball and soccer committees and develops youth in umpiring and coaching roles.

As East Pilbara Regional Manager for the Swan Districts Football Club Inc., she delivers football programs for girls to play football in regional communities.


Old Boys AFL Football Match

img_6674Friday 21 October saw the annual Old Boys AFL match take place. In what is becoming a real highlight on the Kolbe College social calendar, thirty Old Boys took on the  Current Senior Boys AFL team in a hard fought contest.

The mature bodies of the Old Boys proved too much for the young Current Students in a hard fought contest.

Appreciation goes to the many Old Boys who came back to support the game, plenty of whom had to give up work and study to attend. Continue Reading…
