Kolbe Catholic College students from Year 7 to 12 performed at the sold out 2017 Dance Night on Thursday June 22 and Friday June 23.
The theme of the night was Mahalo which means appreciation in Hawaiian.
Students danced the night away reflecting many different stories and messages about life, demonstrating how dance has influenced their lives.
Costumes worn by the Year 12 dancers symbolised the many different cultures around the world.
Year 12 student Sage Palmer said the night saw him appreciate the many genres of dance there are and the way it brings people together.
“To me, Dance Night showed how many different cultures around the world have an impact in many different dance genres in today’s society.”
The night also saw the Kolbe Dance Company perform their Catholic Performing Arts piece.
The night was a huge success and great fun was had by all!
