THE-POPPYThe College held its ANZAC Day ceremony on Wednesday 3 May 2017.

Our guest speaker was Captain Brett Dowsing, a career naval officer with forty years experience, who reminded us of the sacrifice of our servicemen and women and the opportunities that they have provided our nation.

A special mention goes to three generations of the Watson family: grandfather Ian played the bagpipes, his son, Leading Seaman Brett Watson read The Ode, and his grandsons, Duncan and Tavis (an Army Cadet) both participated in the assembly.

Many thanks to Robin Delamont for her overall co-ordination of the ceremony, and to all students involved, especially our impressive ADF Cadets, the melodic Kolbe Singers, Fraser Robinson for his flawless trumpeting and Alasdair Vincent for his outstanding drumming.
