Semester two Year 10 Outdoor Education students were pushed to overcome challenges and reflect on all they have learnt through the recent Outdoor Ed Camp.
The students took on the Bibbulmun Track which runs from Kalamunda to Albany and is 1,000 kilometres in length!
The camp saw students move out of their comfort zones, while also allowing them to work as a united team and build their leadership skills.
Students Shana Soares and Jessica Thomas both said the camp was exhausting but rewarding.
Shana said she learnt the importance of support during the camp.
“I learnt to always support each other and not be afraid to accept help from others,” Shana said.
Jessica said it was important to display perseverance throughout the many challenges the track presented.
“Through the camp I learnt to not give up and to support those who were struggling,” Jessica said.
