Despite torrential downpours and severe wind gusts lashing the playing fields and courts, the annual interschool carnival was a successful day yet again this year.

This year saw the largest group ever taken along to the event, with students competing as part of 20 Kolbe teams, in six different sports, across four venues.

Points and results were not the focus, rather teamwork, exercise and friendly competition against other ACC schools.

All students participated with enthusiasm, courage and perseverance in difficult conditions (with the rain not dampening their spirits).

It was great to see students have some fun representing the College and playing sport with their peers.

A massive thank you to the staff, especially Mr Pat McNulty for coordinating the event. Also a big well done to the Year 11 Physical Education Studies students for acting as referees and coaches.
