Earlier this term, our Year 12 Industry Pathway students ventured to Margaret River for the second annual Collaboration and Leadership Camp, a capstone experience that blends reflection, independence and gratitude as part of the Futures Program’s Celebration module.
Hosted at the SLSWA South West Development Centre, the venue provided the perfect setting for students to step outside the familiar Kolbe environment and experience life as young adults. Built on trust and respect, the camp invited students to take ownership of their time together, collaborate with peers, and participate in adventure based and student led activities that strengthened teamwork, leadership and personal growth.
Beyond the fun and challenge, the camp also served as a heartfelt thank you from the College to this outstanding group of students who have represented Kolbe with maturity and pride in workplaces across Perth and the Peel region. These young people demonstrate resilience, initiative and professionalism in every setting, giving Kolbe a strong and respected presence beyond our gates.
The camp’s relaxed yet purposeful atmosphere gave students space to reflect on their journey, celebrate their achievements, and prepare for the exciting next chapter of life beyond school.
The 2025 Future Collaboration and Leadership Camp once again achieved its goal – to inspire students to move forward with confidence, ready to navigate the opportunities and challenges of the professional world.
