Throughout the past year, our Year 12s have truly found ‘A Million Ways to Max It’, and their final week was no exception!
The week began with the Parents & Caregivers Celebration, an incredible evening dedicated to celebrating the people who have stood up and stepped forward to walk alongside our Year 12s. The room was bursting with big energy, loud laughter and an abundance of appreciation. It was a wonderful opportunity to pause, enjoy good company and celebrate the shared experience of raising teenagers, something that certainly deserves a celebration of its own! A huge thank you to our P&F Group for organising such a wonderful tradition.
The spotlight then turned to our Year 12s as we celebrated their final formal day at Kolbe. The day was filled with moments to treasure, including a whole-school assembly and the much-anticipated reading of their Year 7 time capsule letters. A BBQ lunch followed, with plenty of hugs, jacket signing, raucous online duck races, prize wheels, a photo booth and keepsake swapping to celebrate six incredible years together at Kolbe.
A huge thank you to our Head of Year, Mr Darren Russell, for guiding and supporting this incredible cohort throughout their journey.
While their time as students may be coming to an end, their connection to Kolbe certainly isn’t. Kolbe’s doors will always be open, with alumni warmly welcomed back to reconnect with friends and teachers, share their stories and remember the community that helped shape them.
We are incredibly proud of our Class of 2026 and look forward to celebrating with our Year 12 students and their families at the Graduation Ceremony next term.
