Our Year 10 students certainly know how to celebrate in style! A total of 157 students, accompanied by a few brave teachers, set sail on the stunning Swan River aboard the James Stirling Cruise Ship for their much-anticipated annual River Cruise.
The evening was filled with laughter and excitement as students enjoyed a range of activities. From pizza feasts to a fun-filled photo booth, non-stop dancing, and sing-alongs, the atmosphere was amazing. Year 10 student Sam summed it up perfectly, saying, “It was really fun. I had a great time with my friends.”
The cruise took us on a picturesque journey from Pier 3 at Barrack Street Jetty to Fremantle and back, with the breathtaking river views adding to the magic of the night. The students indulged in delicious Crust pizzas, unlimited soft drinks, and Krispy Kreme doughnuts, ensuring everyone was well-fuelled for the festivities.
As the night wore on, the dance floor became the heart of the party. It was packed with nearly all 157 students, moving to the beat and celebrating their shared experiences. Elizabeth captured the excitement, saying, “Lots of people, lots of dancing; great night.”
The Year 10 River Cruise was more than just a celebration it was a night of bonding, memories, and joy, as the students reflected on the year gone by and looked forward to the adventures ahead.
