As a Year 10 student, there are few things more exciting than the much-anticipated River Cruise. This year’s event, with its vibrant glow-in-the-dark theme, was an absolute blast from start to finish. From the moment we stepped aboard, the air buzzed with excitement, and it was clear this was going to be a night for the books.
Decked out in an array of glow sticks and dazzling outfits, we were ready to embrace the evening ahead. The energy was infectious. The first thing that struck us was the sense of unity and positivity that filled the air. Carys, one of our classmates, perfectly summed it up by saying, “I loved the positive and uplifting environment around us.”
Ava remarked, “I love how we all connected as one group.” Despite the hustle and bustle of school life, the River Cruise provided a platform for us to come together, and simply enjoy each other’s company.
Teia beautifully captured the essence of the evening, highlighting, “It was a great way to create new friendships and bonds with each other.”
Isabelle fondly reflected, “I loved all the memories that we created with our friends.”
For Alessia, the evening was a chance to reconnect with old friends. “It was really good talking to all my old friends again,” she shared.
The cruise itself was a whirlwind of music, dancing, and pure euphoria. We found ourselves mostly on the dance floor singing to our favourite songs.
The River Cruise has given us more than just a night of entertainment—it gifted us with memories that will last a lifetime.
