We’re still riding the high from two unforgettable evenings of Dance Night: Art in Motion! The energy, emotion, and talent on display lit up the stage as over 130 Kolbe students—alongside the talented young dancers from Rocky Beach Primary School—came together to create something truly special.
From the moment the curtains opened, it was clear this was more than just a showcase of choreography. It was a celebration of growth, self-expression, and shared passion. For many students, it was their very first time performing on stage—and they absolutely shone. Their courage and joy were contagious, filling the theatre with an atmosphere of pride and excitement.
Behind the scenes, our incredible Year 11 and 12 leaders played a vital role, keeping everything running smoothly with their support, encouragement, and leadership—both backstage and at the front of house. Their quiet dedication helped turn a good event into a great one.
What made Dance Night truly memorable wasn’t just the applause or the applause-worthy moves—it was the way it brought people together. It reminded us that dance is more than performance; it’s connection, confidence, and the joy of stepping into the spotlight as your most authentic self.
