Kolbe Catholic College proudly celebrated another outstanding year at the Catholic Performing Arts Festival (CPAF), with more than 180 students representing the College across a wide range of disciplines. Over many evenings and days, students travelled to venues throughout Perth, including the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre and several Catholic schools north of the river, showcasing their talents and passion for the performing arts.
Students performed in Christian Dance, Dance, Contemporary Music, Big Band, Choir and Scripted Drama, demonstrating not only exceptional skill and dedication but also the values that define our Kolbe community. Their hard work and commitment were recognised with numerous Excellence and Outstanding awards across multiple categories.
A particular highlight was our Certificate II Drama class receiving the Shield for Drama Secondary the Dr Carmen Lawrence Award, an achievement that reflects the creativity, courage and teamwork of both students and staff.
While the awards were certainly worth celebrating, what stood out most was the spirit in which our students participated. Wherever they performed, Kolbe students represented the College with heart, humility and genuine camaraderie. They supported one another, celebrated the successes of others and embraced every opportunity to grow as performers and young people.
We extend our sincere thanks to the dedicated staff who accompanied students across the many late nights and venues throughout the festival. Their generosity, encouragement and commitment ensured that our students could have such enriching and memorable experiences.
Congratulations to all involved for making CPAF 2026 such a remarkable success. We are incredibly proud of everything you achieved both on and off the stage.
