The final week for our Year 12s was one filled with celebration, reflection and heartfelt farewells as we acknowledged the graduating Class of 2025.
On Monday, our Year 12 students continued the cherished tradition of the Graduation Breakfast, lovingly prepared by our incoming 2026 Student Leaders. Gathering inside Block 2, they shared one last meal together as a cohort, a joyful morning filled with laughter, gratitude and a few emotional moments as they reminisced about their journey through Kolbe Catholic College.
Wednesday marked Graduation Day, beginning with PC and House farewells where students reflected on their growth, expressed their thanks to mentors and shared parting words with younger students. These smaller, personal gatherings beautifully highlighted the strong sense of community and belonging that defines life at Kolbe.
And of course, what would Graduation Day be without one of Kolbe’s most beloved traditions — the Guard of Honour! Our Year 7 students proudly lined the Avenue, cheering, clapping and high-fiving as the graduates made their final walk across the Avenue and through the Kolbe gates for the very last time. It was a beautiful moment, not just for the 12s, but for all of us.
The celebrations culminated on Wednesday evening at the Graduation Ceremony of the Class of 2025, held at the Mandurah Performing Arts Centre. It was a moment of immense pride for staff, families and students alike as the graduates walked the stage to receive their certificates.
As we farewell the Class of 2025, we do so with deep admiration for their resilience, character and spirit, and with great excitement for the bright futures that await them.
