Jersey Day

Brendan Bomford (Director of Campus Ministry)

The Year 12 student leaders, led by Ministry Captains, Maria and Jasmine, had a vision to celebrate our community’s love of sport at the time of the Olympics by holding a Jersey Day! Jasmine proclaimed that “Jersey Day was a fantastic day! It was delightful seeing the sea of coloured jerseys raising money for such an incredible cause, LifeLink.”

LifeLink is the organisation responsible for all the individual welfare and social services agencies governed by the Catholic Archdiocese of Perth. Kolbe has always had a commitment to supporting LifeLink, due to our Catholic faith and also due to the fact that any funds raised going directly to people in need in Western Australia. Maria reflected on this sentiment, “the funds we raised on Jersey Day will go a long way to aiding the individuals and families facing difficult times. It was great to see so many students and staff participating.”
