ACC Senior Girls Netball – Elimination Round
Wednesday 23 July | Vs All Saints College | WIN 35-15
Kolbe’s Senior Girls stormed into the elimination round with style, leading by 10 points after the first quarter and never looking back. Despite some rough play from the opposition, our girls rose above it and let their game do the talking. School Sport Nationals
27 July – 1 August | Brisbane
This week, a mighty team of Kolbe swimmers hit the water in Brisbane for the School Sport Nationals, proudly representing Western Australia AND Kolbe Catholic College. And wow did they deliver:

3 Bronze Medals
4 WA Records
18 PBs
A massive shoutout to our powerhouse swimmers:
Brielle – 3 Gold, 2 Bronze and an incredible 4 new WA State records in breaststroke!
Lucia – 3 Gold, 1 Bronze and PBs in nearly every race!
Ella – Top 10 and finals in four events, with PBs across multiple strokes!
Paige – Personal bests in EVERY event and got into the finals for 200m breaststroke!
ACC Senior Girls Netball – Final
Tuesday 29 July | Vs Aranmore College | LOSS 27-31
In a nail-biting final at Aranmore, our girls led for most of the match but were just pipped in the final quarter. It was a game full of grit, heart and determination. Heads held high, and already hungry for next year’s redemption!
Year 10 Boys AFL – Division 2 Carnival
Wednesday 30 July | Lightning Park, Noranda | 3rd Place
For their debut in Division 2, our Year 10 boys took to the field with fire in their boots and did not disappoint. After four tight games, the team finished third out of five, securing their spot in Division 2 for next year.
Player highlights:
Sam D. (Year 9!) showed huge skill and determination.
Saxon, Koby, Ryder and Ky were absolute standouts, leading from the front.
ACC Senior Boys Soccer – Knockout Final
Wednesday 30 July | Vs All Saints College | WIN 2-1
The mighty Yellow Submarines hit the road to All Saints College for their last-16 knockout and sailed home with the win!
Player highlights:
Teddy opened the scoring and set up Captain Charlie for a brilliant second.
Defensive rock Will, gritty tackles from Xander, relentless energy from Nikki, and selfless play from Amari and Mitch sealed the deal.
Next stop: Quarter Finals!
