Teresa Day, held last Wednesday, was a meaningful celebration as Teresa students and staff gathered to honour our patron saint, Saint Mother Teresa. The day blended cosy activities with reflection, reminding everyone that service, compassion and unity sit at the heart of our House and school.
After a reverent Mass, students rotated through a range of enjoyable indoor activities, including a movie, colouring in, a ping-pong tournament and Just Dance. Whether students were collaborating during problem-solving games or cheering loudly for the best dancer, every moment echoed Mother Teresa’s belief that small acts done with great love can transform a community.
Teachers and student leaders guided each activity, ensuring the day ran smoothly and every student felt included and valued. The purpose of House Day is not only to celebrate our patron saint but also to strengthen our sense of belonging and inspire students to live out her message of kindness. The atmosphere was vibrant, joyful and deeply connected to our shared identity. Most importantly, we enjoyed a delicious sausage sizzle at lunch!
