On Tuesday, 2nd April, Xavier House came together in full spirit to celebrate our Patron Saint, St Francis Xavier – and what a day it was!
The celebrations began with a heartfelt House Mass, where we reflected on the life and mission of St Francis Xavier. Each PC group was acknowledged for their ongoing connection to our Patron Saint and the values he represents. It was a beautiful reminder of the strength we find in our Xavier community.
Following Mass, we proudly showcased the generous donations brought in by Xavier students in support of our House charity, The Crew. These contributions will directly benefit members of the Rockingham community who are doing it tough. We were fortunate to welcome Mike from The Crew, who spoke to our students about the real impact their donations make. His words reminded us of how lucky we are – and how powerful even the smallest act of kindness can be.
Then came the feast! The Xavier staff went above and beyond, serving up a mouthwatering breakfast of bacon, eggs, and hash browns – all stacked into epic breakfast burgers. The smell alone had everyone smiling, and one student summed it up perfectly: “Best food, best fun, thank you!”
The day finished with games and laughter on the Avenue, where students enjoyed spending time together, celebrating everything Xavier House stands for: faith, service, unity, and joy.
Thank you to everyone who made the day such a success – from our generous students to our incredible staff. St Francis Xavier would be proud!
