Chisholm Week was a wonderful celebration of community, service, and spirit, beautifully reflecting our 2026 theme, “No One Walks Alone,” a value Caroline Chisholm lived so deeply. The week began with our student‑led sausage sizzle supporting Liliah Haven, our House charity. Our leaders showed impressive teamwork and initiative as they raised funds to support women and children in need by sizzling up a storm.
A major highlight was our Busy Bee at the women’s refuge, where 40 volunteers gave up their time after school to move furniture, clean toys, and refresh play areas. As Year 12 student Kashif shared, “The best part of Chisholm Week was participating in the Busy Bee and the house spirit we saw throughout the day.” This sense of unity continued throughout the celebrations.
Chisholm Day and our House Mass were moments of connection and pride as we welcomed Victoria and our newest Yarning Bear, Langi, into the Chisholm family. The joy carried into the shared breakfast and lively games, with students noting how these moments brought everyone closer.
