Another year, another incredible Forge Exhibition!
What a fantastic evening celebrating the creativity, talent and hard work of our students.
This year’s exhibition was once again a wonderful showcase of the incredible work produced across our Visual Arts, Woodwork, Metalwork, Media, Design and Textiles courses. The exhibition highlighted the extraordinary talent, creativity and dedication of our students.
The feedback from parents and visitors was overwhelmingly positive, with many commenting on how the standard of work continues to grow each year. One parent beautifully summed it up: “The artwork just keeps getting better each year. I love the variety and that every year the teachers come up with new creative pieces for each year group to explore and make their own! The talent in all year groups is exceptional.”
The atmosphere throughout the evening was fantastic, with live music performed by our talented Year 11 student, Charlie, and delicious food prepared and served by our wonderful Year 11 Hospitality students. Their contributions helped make the evening even more special!
Summed up beautifully by our Visual Art & Media Captain, Caitlyn, on the evening, “Forge has always been an event I’ve looked forward to, for my final year, MC-ing the event was amazing, I loved every second of the process of preparing for the exhibition. The night consists of amazing artwork, fantastic food and allows for both visual art and design and technology students to proudly show off their work. Forge truly is a night filled with innovation, creativity and inspiration and I’m forever grateful I got the opportunity to be a part of it.”
A huge congratulations to all our award winners, whose outstanding achievements were recognised on the night. We are incredibly proud of the creativity, passion and effort demonstrated by all students who had work on display.
A heartfelt thank you to our dedicated staff, students, families and wider College community for supporting this wonderful celebration of the Arts. The evening was a fantastic reflection of the talent, creativity and opportunities we have here at Kolbe.
What an amazing night!
