On Friday, February 2nd, the much-awaited Year 12 Ball finally took place, and it was a scorcher! Amidst the blazing heat, 230 of us Year 12s, along with our partners and the staff, braved the traffic and sweltering temperatures to make it to the 2024 Year 12 Ball, held at Beaumonde on the Point in East Perth.
As we made our way up the stairs, Mr. Alweyn and Mr. Russell greeted us warmly, setting the tone for what promised to be an epic night. Mocktails in hand, we made our way into the Ballroom, ready for a great time. After finding our designated tables, we enjoyed a lovely dinner, surrounded by the company of our friends.
Following dinner, people either conquered the dance floor, struck a pose in the photo booth, or enjoyed the sunset and photo opportunities on the balcony. It truly was a fantastic night! Reflecting on the evening, Tori expressed, “I loved seeing everyone hit the dance floor and just having a blast together.” Campbell added, “I was blown away by how stunning everyone looked in their suits and ball dresses. The effort everyone put in really made the night extra special!”
But all good things come to an end, and before we knew it, it was time to head home in limousines, party buses, and other fancy vehicles, marking the end of an unforgettable evening. A big shoutout to all the staff who sacrificed their time to ensure that we had a great time at the Year 12 School Ball.
