On Thursday 7th May, Year 11 students welcomed their mothers, grandmothers, aunts and other important female role models to a special Mother’s Day Breakfast held in the beautifully transformed Block 2. The event provided students with the opportunity to spend quality time with the significant women in their lives and show their appreciation for the care, support and encouragement they provide each day.
The shared breakfast was filled with a warm and vibrant atmosphere, with students and guests enjoying delicious food, meaningful conversations and the chance to connect with one another before the start of the school day. A particular highlight of the morning was the photobooth, where families captured special memories together, and the accompanying music showcased by our talented Year 11 students.
The Mother’s Day Breakfast continues to be a valued occasion within the Year 11 cohort, as it strengthens the partnership between school and family while encouraging students to reflect on gratitude and the importance of recognising those who positively influence their lives.
Year 11 student, Lucy Dickens said, “It was really nice being able to spend time with so many important women in my life. I am so grateful for everything that they do for me. We loved being able to get a photo together that we will look back on for many years.
A sincere thank you to the Chisholm staff and our Year 12 Hospitality students who catered and served at the event with exceptional professionalism. We would also like to extend our gratitude to Kingston’s Kitchen and to the various local businesses who donated generously to our raffle; it is so greatly appreciated.
