“The Ball was an elite experience and a great opportunity to dress up, go to Optus and spend time laughing, eating and dancing with the whole year level.”
— Tom R.
On Friday February 6th, the Year 12 Ball took place at Optus Stadium, marking the official beginning of our final year of schooling. This formal event provided students with the opportunity to dress up and celebrate the start of our Year 12 journey together. The Ball encourages a strong sense of unity across the year group, creating space for students to strengthen friendships and connect with peers outside the classroom.
Students enjoyed a beautifully catered dinner, before heading to the dance floor, where the energy remained high throughout the night. Photobooths and a professional photographer were available at the venue, allowing us to capture lasting memories of this special occasion. By bringing the cohort together, the event fostered a feeling of belonging and reminded students that their final year of high school is not only about academic achievements, but also about community, personal growth and shared experiences.
Overall, the Year 12 Ball was a celebration for the present and the journey ahead, as it set a positive tone for the year to come.
“The Year 12 Ball stands to be the most memorable event in KCC for me! Getting hyped for the night, getting glammed up, and eventually having fun with all my friends on the dance floor was such a beautiful and unmatched experience.”
